Frequently Asked Questions

  • What time are your services?

We meet on Sundays in person and online at 10:00 am. Kids ministry occurs at the same time.

  • Do you have services for kids?

Yes! Kids are centered in our community. Children infant through fifth grade are welcome to participate in our children’s ministry, Destiny Kids. Children can be securely signed in at the entrance to our children’s wing. You’ll see a big sign that says “Kids” and a friendly person to welcome you and your children. Your children can be picked up at the same location at the conclusion of the service.

We also have a self-service calming room available for parents and small children during the whole service in the rear of the sanctuary.

Destiny Kids is the children’s ministry of Destiny Christian Center Muncie. We serve families with children (infants through Fifth Grade) by providing safe, age-appropriate, faith-filled, Jesus-centered classrooms while parents attend church service. Destiny Kids meets every Sunday at our 10am service. You can register or sign in your children right from you phone on the Destiny Mobile App or at our Destiny Kids check-point in the lobby when you arrive.

We also have a youth program for students in middle and high school. The youth program meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month during the sermon in the youth room. An announcement will be made dismissing the youth. The youth will return to the sanctuary at the conclusion of the service.

  • How long do services typically last?

Our church services typically last for about 1 hour 30 minutes and include singing, a sermon, prayer, and on certain Sundays, spiritual practices such as baptism and communion.

Don’t be shy to linger a little longer after the service - we have free coffee!

  • What should I wear?

Come exactly as you are – don’t dress up or down for anyone.

At Destiny, we’re more concerned with people’s hearts than what they are wearing. Feel free to wear what you want, whether that’s a suit or a t-shirt.

  • Is your church accessible?

We have ensured our building is accessible for people of all different abilities. We have ramps and reserved seating for wheelchairs. We also have sign language in the front left side of the sanctuary alongside the service for the hearing impaired.

  • What denomination is the church affiliated with?

Our church is not affiliated with a specific denomination.

  • Can I watch services online if I can’t attend in person?

Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person service, you can always watch it live, or watch a service you missed.

  • Can I talk to a pastor?

If you have any other questions or simply want to talk to a pastor, we’re on the other end of this line and are eager to chat with you.
