FIRST CHOICE FOR WOMEN

Our January outreach highlighted ministry is First Choice for Women. Since 2008, Destiny has contributed $44,100 to this ministry. First Choice for Women is a compassionate, faith-based organization that offers free physical, mental, and spiritual support to empower individuals facing difficult relationship, pregnancy, and parenting decisions in the East Central Indiana Region. This month Destiny will be collecting Diapers and women's study Bibles or devotionals. Please drop off your items to Destiny Christian Center by Feb. 14. MUNCIE MISSION

Destiny Christian Center will be participating in the Walk-a-Mile in My Shoes event for the Muncie Mission on February 11, 2023. As a ministry, Destiny has committed to matching donations up to $1,000 and to have a team walking on that day. We will meet at the Fieldhouse at 8am and the walk begins at 9am. HARVEST SOUP KITCHEN

Our February highlighted Ministry is Harvest Soup Kitchen. Since 2006, Destiny has contributed $46,200 to this ministry. The Soup Kitchen of Muncie is a safe place that promotes health, community, and equity. At the Soup Kitchen, individuals and families can come together to help one another. The Soup Kitchen ensures that all people can access healthy food and make connections with community services to support their social and emotional wellbeing.This month Destiny will be collecting Toiletries such as soap, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioners, toothbrushes, scarves, hats and gloves etc. for this ministry. Items may be full or travel sized. Please drop off your items to Destiny Christian Center by March 21. Our March highlighted Ministry is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie. Since 2015, Destiny has contributed $28,850 to the Clubs. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie is open every day after school and all day during the summer to ensure that our youth have a safe, fun, and positive environment to be a part of. By doing this, as well as providing high yield activities, targeted programs, and encouraging regular attendance, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie gives members the tools, guidance, and opportunities to achieve academic success, to be instilled with good character and citizenship, and to maintain healthy lifestyles.This month Destiny will be collecting individually packaged snacks and juice boxes.
